The General Assembly is the maximum authority.
The Assembly chooses a Council, conformed by representatives of the organizations members and one of them is chosen as the General Secretary, who is also the legal represent ant of the coalition.
The operative coordination is carried by an Executive Director who leads a team of technicians.
In periodically meetings with the organizations members, the CDIA gives reports of activities. During these meetings analysis of childhood situation is hold as well as discussion about accomplishment of rights in the country.
The organizations members are part of tasks committees that develop the strategic plan of CDIA.
