We are a coalition of nongovernmental organizations that articulate actions for the promotion, defense, monitoring and enforceability of rights, contributing to the effective accomplishment of children and adolescents rights. We propose the idea of integrality in the children development and we conceive them as social subjects of rights, particularly we pay attention to youth participation.
The CDIA draw these General goals:
a. Defend and promote children and adolescents rights that are recognized in the Convention of Children Rights of the United Nations and in other national and international legal instruments of human rights.
b. Promote the effectiveness of rights in the design, execution and monitoring of the public policies of childhood and adolescence.
c. To denounce and inform violations of rights, proposing actions towards the enforceability to the appropriate authorities.
d. Be the valid partner in the area of childhood and adolescence to the government and in international levels.
The CDIA draw these Particle goals:
a. Articulate and support actions in behalf of childhood and adolescence through the organizations members of the coalition and have the representation of them in the national and international levels.
b. Develop strategies for the promotion, the analysis and the continuous research on childhood and adolescence situation.
c. Do activities of support, assessment and training to groups and organizations that ask for them.
d. Propose projects for the more vulnerable groups to make effective the improvement of the quality of life of children and adolescents of the country.
e. Study, develop and present through the corresponding channels projects of legal reform.
f. Contribute to the abolition of discriminatory practices against children and adolescents.
g. Transmit the actions taken in behalf of childhood in the national and international levels.
