What is the bureau of investment?

The bureau is a joint civil society organizations, whose mission is to influence the protection and enhancement of investment in children and adolescents through the public budget, through advocacy, research, training and communication. Is formed through Decidamos and CDIA organizations.

Consist in SOS children's villages Paraguay - Centro de Estudios en Derechos Humanos, Niñez y Juventud (CENIJU) - Global… Infancia – Decidamos, campaign for citizen expression and the Coordinadora por los Derechos de la Infancia y la Adolescencia (CDIA), a through the Centre for Public Policy and Rights of Children and Adolescents.

 

Actions

One of the first initiatives of the Bureau was in 2008, it decided to conduct a study on the budgetary implementation of the Secretaría Nacional de la Niñez y la Adolescencia (SNNA) and projections for 2009.

Further, the document reveals the results of the study, showing the extension of the study to the analysis of the budgets of the SNNA since 2003, as it was considered relevant for a better assessment of the State's investment through SNNA and as an integral vision of the installation process and the evolution of the budget of this portfolio of the State during this period.

Also, with SNNA was signed the Marco Convention for the installation of the Inter-Institutional Bureau of Investment in Children and Adolescents with the main objective to influence the distribution of a larger budget and plans for state programs that benefit children and adolescents.
