The Coordinator for the Rights of Childhood and Adolescence (CDIA, Spanish acronym) is an “association that brings together non-governmental organizations (NGOs) dedicated to the promotion and defense of the rights of children and adolescents in Paraguay”.
Our principles, values, objectives and actions consolidate us as a leading organization in the promotion, protection, surveillance and enforcement of children and adolescent rights. We promote the design, application and monitoring of public policies aimed at the childhood and adolescence sector. We currently associate thirty-five civil society member organizations with diverse focuses.
Our 2015-2018 Strategic Plan and the 2013-2018 Priority Agenda were both written and approved in participatory spaces, with our member organizations, during Plenary Sessions and Assemblies.
In this manner, from the CDIA we seek to establish ourselves into a space of articulation and coordination for influencing public policies and the enforcement of rights, in light of the current regulatory framework at national and international levels, creating strategies that enable the complete development of children and adolescents.
Our coalition has legal personality and is governed by social bylaws.
